The quality of your pizza will stand or fall with how crispy the crust is – and how light, of course. That is why we knead our pizza dough with love, make thin pizza crusts and bake them in a traditional stone oven.
This is undoubtedly the pizza margherita, first made in Naples in 1889 and named after the Italian queen Margherita di Savoia. Dough, tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil complement each other perfectly: red, white and green, in the colour of the Italian flag, but above all, a beautiful blend of pure flavours and a crispy crust. Simplicity reigns supreme.
Pizza is actually an appetiser, with only tomatoes and basil as toppings. When extra toppings are added, the pizza turns into a main course. The beauty of pizza: you choose which toppings you like and whether you go for many or few ingredients. Still, there is 1 golden rule: meat, fish or vegetables, the toppings must always be fresh.
